not all heroes wear capes

THANK YOU to all of the frontline workers currently putting thier health and safety on the line for us.

THANK YOU to the doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, and hospital staff.

THANK YOU to the police, firefighters, EMTs and other first responders.

THANK YOU to the grocery store clerks, retail workers, postal workers, janitorial staff and delivery drivers.

THANK YOU to all who are providing essential services during this global pandemic.

You are all sacrificing your health so that the rest of us can be home.

To these everyday heroes, please know that we are all eternally grateful for your sacrifice. I not only stay home for the health and well-being of my family and loved ones, but I stay home for yours.

To the rest of us who are not on the frontlines, please stay home. Stay home for yours. Stay home for theirs. Listen to the medical professionals. Do what we are being asked to do.

Next time, you feel like complaining about being “stuck at home” remember this: you are not stuck at home. You are safe at home.

Stay safe, friends.
