The Bear (FX)

I know that I’m late to the party on this one. My husband put it on one night and I only had the intention of “half paying attention,” but it drew me in with its chaos. I do find it quite enjoyable and it actually makes me want to open a restaurant. My husband and I have joked about randomly yelling “corner!” and “yes chef!” to see if our son will start asking questions. Should we? Law & Order (NBC/Pluto TV)

I’ve always been a Law & Order nerd, but now that Pluto TV has a channel dedicated to reruns, I’m done for. Most days an L&O rerun will be the background noise for the house and for the dog as she naps. Mom win: I did catch my son humming the theme song earlier this week.

Running Point (Netflix)

I found this show last year and instantly fell in love with it. I finished up season 2 this week and it’s still there. I love everything about this show. The cast, the dynamic, the plot lines, and the laughs are unmatched for me right now (until Abbott Elementary returns next season!). Plus, I like to support the creative folks at my former watertower employer when I’m able to. Click here to watch the season 1 trailer!

NBA Finals (ABC)

I grew up going to basketball games with my mom. I’ve watched on and off over the years. Never been a Knicks fan, but this week I am. I think the cost of tickets to these games and sports in general are outrageous, BUT you can actually feel the energy of the arena through the television. Knicks absolutely stunk it up in Game 3, but did you see Game 4?!?! An abysmal first half followed by an unbelievable comeback in the second half! Can’t wait for Game 5. GO KNICKS!
